In 2014 in New Orleans,
a brother-sister team began cooking up an idea in a quaint home kitchen: Healthy, gluten-free, grab-and-go food. Leaning on their creativity and culinary skills — this was New Orleans, after all — Stephanie Kern and Trey Buerger grew the business into what is now Green Fork & Straw.
In 2018, Stephanie’s son Blair expanded the concept to Houston. With the freshest organic juices, smoothies, and gluten-free snacks and meals, Green Fork & Straw caters to all different dietary needs.
The vegan, paleo-friendly and raw options are crafted in small batches with lots of love — and a deep-seated commitment to making it simple to enjoy healthful food.

Located in Elgin, Texas, Greener Pastures Chicken is the combined vision of Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller (who majored in poultry science at Texas A&M) and organic farmer Cameron Molberg. Greener Pastures prioritizes animal welfare and ethical practices — all while delivering tender, juicy chicken. It’s the only place Green Fork sources our poultry, and we are confident you’ll notice the difference.
Our produce is also organic, sustainably farmed and locally sourced. We believe that these factors directly contribute to food quality and overall health and wellbeing.
